Indeed, Shabo Bahe was a great Malfono - particularly his poems supported  the process of our national awakening and establishing umthonoyutho among our people.

He correctly points to Malfono Shukri Carmukli, a pupil of Malfono rabo Naum Faiq as establisher of first national and political organisation in Syria - a.k.a. Mtakasto.

Kekwo dSafro Habibto is indeed one of the most beautifully framed poems reflecting the aspirations of a nation in a very romantic style.
